Increase Spiritual Growth
Monday Dec 05, 2016
Monday Dec 05, 2016
It's important to work out on a regular basis. We all need to stay healthy and fit. Reading is important, too. Stay up on new findings, stretch your mind, and challenge yourself. Make learning part of your daily life. But, we need balance in all areas. Add spiritual growth to that list. Then, move it all the way to the top! You must increase spiritual growth, as well. This means spend quiet time with God. Speak to God constantly, stay in His word, apply what you learn, and walk in love.
2 Timothy 2:15, "Work hard so you can present yourself to God and receive his approval. Be a good worker, one who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly explains the word of truth."

You Must Take Care of Yourself
Sunday Dec 04, 2016
Sunday Dec 04, 2016
Prayer Call:
Jacinda Jacobs reminds us that it is so important to ALWAYS take care of ourselves. Sometimes we believe we're in seasons to solely take care of others. Why sometimes this may be the case, it's only after you take time to be still in God's presence. You must take care of yourself so you can be used by God.

Be an Influencer
Sunday Dec 04, 2016
Sunday Dec 04, 2016
Daily Devotion:
Rather than allow situations to influence you. God has called you to be the change. Know the strength that lies within you and do not conform, nor fall weak to your surroundings. Stand tall and know that you have been called to be an influencer.
1 Peter 2:9, "But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light."

Daily Devotion:
Some of us struggle with forgiveness in our lives because we are unable to let go. What are you holding onto? The moment it happened, God had already forgiven you. If He's forgiven you, it's time for forgive yourself. Let go.
Matthew 8:21-22, "Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, "Lord how many times shall I forgive my brother who sins against me? Up to seven times? Jesus answered, "I tell you not just seven tines but seventy seven times.
The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong.

Too Busy for God?
Wednesday Nov 30, 2016
Wednesday Nov 30, 2016
Daily Devotion:
How do you juggle your significant other, kids, work, eating, laundry, working out, and God? The problem is you're trying to FIT God into your busy schedule, instead of making God the foundation of your life. When God is the center, everything else will fall into it's perfect place.
Matthew 6:33 reads, "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."
Beware the barrenness of a busy life.
-Socrates

Be Like Jesus
Tuesday Nov 29, 2016
Tuesday Nov 29, 2016
What part of your walk is a reflection of Christ? What can you strengthen, fix, correct, and eliminate to walk and live a life more like Jesus? For some, you are the only Bible they read and the only sermon they hear. Do others see Jesus in your actions and hear Jesus in your words? The bible says in John 13:15, "They'll know you're my disciples by your love."
If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them. And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same.
-Jesus Christ

Sow a Seed
Monday Nov 28, 2016
Monday Nov 28, 2016
Daily Devotion:
When was the last time you sowed a seed into someone else's life? It can be as tiny as giving an encouraging word to praying blessings, favor and grace over a friend or co-worker. Every time you plant a seed, the harvest has to come up. Take the time to invest in others. God has blessed you to be a blessing.
Galatians 6:7 "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap."
We know we cannot plant seeds with closed fists. To sow, we must open our hands.
