It's our faithful duty to be a true friend.  God says we are divinely designed for it.  The priority of friendship should to walk with the wise as iron sharpens iron. (Proverbs 27:17)

The essentials of a true friendship is to lead you to be the best for God:
1. Are you leading your friends to be the best they can for Christ?
2. Are your friends pushing YOU to be the best servant you can be for Christ?

John 15:13, "There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends."

Let Go & Embrace the New

What are you holding onto that's preventing you from moving forward?  As you reflect on this past year, let go of a few things so you can move into 2017 fresh & new. God wants to do a work in you.  It's hard to embrace new blessings in your life when you're stuck holding onto old things.

Do Your Job & God Will Do His

Do you ever find it difficult to spread the good news of Jesus Christ?  Maybe the person is not receiving of the invitation to church or doesn't seem interested in hearing your testimony, etc. When it gets difficult, don't be discouraged.  Your only job is to plant the seed.  One day, someone else will come and water the seed. Do your part. Trust and believe, God has a plan.  

1 Corinthians 3:8, "The one who plants and the one who waters have one purpose, and they will each be rewarded according to their own labor."

Whatever kind of seed is sown in a field, prepared in due season, a plant of that same kind, marked with the peculiar qualities of the seed, springs up in it.

Don't Walk Alone

Give LOVE Away

The world is a dark place. We have been called to be the light that shines brightly for all to see! God called us to be the "Light" of the world! What is it that you can do differently to shine brightly for God?

Let Go, Let God

Daily Devotion:

 

What you are holding onto is suffocating you!  Free yourself of the hurt, pain, and anger.  Let - it - go!

Many times we have trouble letting things go. We simmer on the thoughts, and memories. We let it kill our spirit and ultimately steal our joy.  Today, give it to the one who can heal, the one who protects and covers.  Let it go, and let God handle the rest. Hands up!


Ephesians 4:31, "Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior."
