Do You Need Balance?

Balance is a necessity for your life.  However, it doesn't happen on it's own, you must fight for it.  Create intentional balance for your life.  Develop better boundary management over your task lists.  Remember, Jesus gave so much of Himself but He also took time for Himself.  


Mark 6:31, "And he said to them, “Come away by yourselves to a desolate place and rest a while.” For many were coming and going, and they had no leisure even to eat."

It's all about quality of life and finding a happy balance between work and friends and family.

Hitting Rock Bottom?

The beautiful part about hitting rock bottom is that you can only go up from there.  When you're on your knees, in a position of surrender, that's the best place to be.  Know the one to depend on is Christ. God is our rock and He's right there in the valley with you.

God Will Answer Your Prayer

Daily Devotion:

 

The three ways God answers prayers is, "Yes, no and wait."  When God answers with "Yes" that means its in line with HIs perfect will for your life.  When God answers "No," He's redirecting your path. God is saying stop. He has something better in store for you. When God says "Wait," He is teaching you patience.  He is saying wait on His perfect timing.  


Psalm 27:14, "Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord."

What Are You Confessing?

Daily Devotion:

 

When you confess God's promises over your life it has to come to pass. The word of God is living and active.  If you confess the word over your heart and your life it shall not come back void.


Psalms 19:14,"May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer."

God is the biggest storyteller, and when we create stories, we connect with him and with each other across cultural, religious and gender boundaries.

Don't Water Weeds

Daily Devotion: 

 

What you feed will grow and what you starve will die.  Time is a huge indicator of what's important in your life.  If you want to get in shape and be fit, then you would probably find yourself in the gym and/or eating a balanced diet.  This is what it means to say, "What you feed will grow." Staying in the gym feeds a physically, healthy lifestyle.  

Put constant attention to the good things in your life so you can fill up on it and overflow.  Cut, eliminate, stop and prohibit any of the bad things in your life so you can eventually starve it and stop it from growing. 

2 Peter 3:18, "Rather, you must grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. All glory to him, both now and forever! Amen."

The glory of gardening: hands in the dirt, head in the sun, heart with nature. To nurture a garden is to feed not just on the body, but the soul.
