Stolen Lunches Bible Study

Here is one of our morning Prayer Calls lead my Krystal Mise. 

Daily Devotion:

 

Family, career, friends, working out, social media, cooking, shopping, serving, Church, social life, second job, yard work, etc.  Where is God in your list of priorities?  Some may say God doesn't need His own category because He is in all things.  However, God has called us to Seek Him first.  Without coming to God first thing in the morning and making Him your top priority, you may loose sight of Him throughout the busyness of the day. Make God and Keep God #1.  

Luke 12:34, "For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."

Let me tell you how worthwhile you are. You are infinitely valuable to God. First, God created you. Second, Jesus died for you. Third, he puts his Spirit within you. Fourth, he wants you to be with him forever in eternity. That's how valuable you are to God. You are infinitely valuable to God.

God wants you to come to Him first thing in the morning.  A man once said the secret to his success was spending 1-2 hours of prayer, devotion and mediation time with God first thing in the morning.  He said, before many others would even wake up, His battles were already won!

Do not be discouraged by what you see and hear.  The world is not all bad.  There are great people with kindness in their heart and love that overflows.  You are one of them!  How are you showing kindness today?  

2 Samuel 2:6, "May the LORD now show you kindness and faithfulness, and I too will show you the same favor because you have done this."

Doesn't mean it's not there!  Allow for the Holy Spirit to guide you.  The Holy Spirit was sent to cover, protect and speak to your heart.  You will know when you're heading in the wrong because your Holy Spirit will gently nudge you all while rerouting you.  You may not see the chaos that lies ahead, however the gift of the Holy Spirit knows all things.  Rely on your Holy Spirit!

You might just get it!  Many people are praying for things like a new job, new house, first child and/or marriage.  Have you ever thought, how much change your life has to endure to receive these blessings?  God will bless you.  Your prayers will be answered.  Can you handle it is the question?  Are you ready for your blessing?

Don't just talk about it, be about it, that goes with your family, friends, and YES, even God.  Don't waste time telling God, "I'll start that business later, I'll quit smoking next week, I'll write that book next year."  God comes from the "show me state," so-to-speak, He wants to see action, TODAY!

God wants to bless those that He knows will be a giver and blessing to others.  In our previous devotion, we talked about asking God for the desires of your heart.  Have you ever considered what might happen if God actually blesses you with it?  Some of us are scared to ask, not because the answer may be "no," but because the answer might actually be, "yes."  When God blesses you, make sure you fill up your cup and be a giver of your overflow.  


Proverbs 11:25, "The one who blesses others is abundantly blessed; those who help others are helped."

You have to fill your cup. You then give away the overflowing, but you keep a cupful for yourself.

Never be afraid to ask God for something.  He wants you to be dependent on Him.  Bring it to Him first! We are denied so many blessings because we simply do not go to our Heavenly Father and ask.  Today in your continual prayer with God, ask!


Matthew 7:7, " “Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you."

Everything you want is out there waiting for you to ask. Everything you want also wants you. But you have to take action to get it.
