Have you ever got caught saying things you wish you didn't only to apologize for all of it later? Control your emotions from taking control of your words and actions.  Assess the situation by inviting God into every part of it.  


James 1:19, "Understand this, my dear brothers and sisters: You must all be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry."

Be slow to speak, and only after having first listened quietly, so that you may understand the meaning, leanings, and wishes of those who do speak. Thus you will better know when to speak and when to be silent.
